We realize you may embark on a journey that will change your life and your ease and comfort is important to us. Please read the steps below to understand the A.R.T. way in hair replacement.

Step 1: The first step is to contact A.R.T. to arrange an appointment to evaluate your options. At the appointment, we will evaluate your hair loss and recommend a plan.

Step 2: Once you decide to go with A.R.T., we will design a hair replacement customized just for you. A scalp template is necessary at this stage to ensure proper fit and to perfectly duplicate your own hair.

Step 3: Hair samples are then taken to ensure accuracy in color and texture for the replacement.

Step 4: You and your specialist will then discuss the attachment option most suitable to your lifestyle.

Step 5: A.R.T. will then send out to have the hair replacement prepared. It normally takes approximately 6-8 weeks to receive the customized hair replacement. Upon receiving it, A.R.T. inspects the product, as it must pass our strict quality standards before the installation appointment is arranged.

Step 6: Installation Process - You and your specialist will decide on your hairstyle choices; if necessary, we will then shampoo and trim your own growing hair to the chosen style. Your hair replacement will be placed on you temporarily with a removable attachment called spring clips. After cutting and styling your new hair, together we will decide if detailing is needed (perm hightlights, gray, etc).

Note that your new hair will feel and look fuller at this time; give your eyes a chance to adjust to its new volume. Experience has taught us that it is better to feel that the hair is a little fuller and perhaps longer than you prefer, rather than making a hasty decision.

After you feel comfortable with the look of the hair replacement, bonding, spring clips, or a double-sided adhesive is used to attach it. Remember that all methods of attachment are interchangeable with only minor adjustments, so whenever possible, feel free to try
them all.
