How to Make a Scalp Template
Ordering Your Hair Replacement

HOW TO MAKE A SCALP TEMPLATE:
To ensure the proper fit of your hair replacement; a template of your hair loss is necessary. You will need someone to assist you for this process.

FIRST
Stretch saran wrap on scalp, holding firmly down with hands below your ears.

SECOND
Using a marker, outline from temple to temple, going around the back of the head, carefully outlining the area where your hairline meets the area to be replaced. When measuring the front, hold your hand on your forehead measuring from the eyebrow up (four fingers). Start there and recreate a realistic hairline.
*Remember, your line indicates the area where hair will start, a recession is important.

THIRD
Use Strapping tape to form the shape of the head. Lay each piece smooth and snug. Use three layers to achieve proper form.

FOURTH
Cut out the template leaving about 1/4 extra if more alterations are needed. Trim to fit exactly.
